It’s July 2011 and I am just back home when a msg reaches me that a new has been opened in Yangshuo. I don’t pay too much attention, after all, there are so many new hotels, why would this one need extra attention. Remember, the top end rooms have their own private sauna!

It’s July 2011 and I am just back home when a msg reaches me that a new has been opened in Yangshuo. I don’t pay too much attention, after all, there are so many new hotels, why would this one need extra attention. Remember, the top end rooms have their own private sauna!
In October I am back in Yangshuo and visit the hotel: Yangshuo Village Retreat. It’s an eye opener. Better than the 5 star Green Lotus, relaxter than the Sovereign and an atmosphere comparable to for example the Snow Lion Riverside Resort. It is the best option I have seen in town.
